The techniques used in B.E.S.T. have been researched and refined since the birth of this wonderful treatment by Dr. Ted Morter of Morter Health in the 70s. His legacy continues through his daughter Dr. Sue Morter of Morter Institute and her 2 brothers of Morter Health.

The experience…

Your initial consultation and treatment lasts approximately 75 minutes to discuss your relevant medical history and current needs. Any subsequent sessions that may be required generally take 30-45 minutes. As part of your treatment, we will assess the 6 essentials – what you eat, what you drink, how you breathe, what you think and how you exercise and rest. Dr. Sue adds “how you love” as the 7th essential as this is a powerful force that affects our daily health, relationships and the life we create.

B.E.S.T. can be carried out just as effectively remotely as in person. Much of the current training is now being taught and experienced via Zoom so this process feels perfectly natural to the practitioner and clients are often surprised how connected they feel.

Eat

What we eat determines how acidic or alkaline our body is and this ultimately affects our ability to heal.

Drink

Staying hydrated is essential for health and it’s importance is often overlooked.

Breathe

The way we breathe can energise and help us to be more in touch with ourselves in the present moment.

Think

Our thoughts are very powerful and affect us on a sub-conscious level too, so it is important that we are aware of what we are creating.

Exercise

Exercise keeps our energy flowing on many levels and is especially potent when we are outside in the nature as well or on the yoga mat.

Rest

Balancing and prioritising rest throughout our day leads to a more nourishing sleep allowing the body to heal more effectively.

There is a universal pulse that constantly flows through us and B.E.S.T. helps to restore this connection when we have become out of balance 

B.E.S.T. is an interactive process whereby the practitioner is led through a very specific process as guided by your energy field. You will be asked to focus on specific yet simple breath patterns, eye patterns and feelings helping you to embrace and free yourself from the subconcious stored memory patterns that affect your ability to heal.

On a walk after a particularly rewarding B.E.S.T session, I saw everything in a new light. The sky seemed so blue, the singing of the birds so beautiful and the trees so majestic.
